Yep, there are plenty of forms of kimchi with very different ingredients. They’re all just taking advantage of lactobacillus fermentation, same as sauerkraut, so you get the same kind of tang as it ‘ripens’.

TheOakTree@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Have you ever cried because of a video game?8·24 days agoMovies don’t hit me as hard, but the medium that is video games really sells the rough moments for me. Maybe it’s something about being responsible for moving the narrative that makes me connect with video game characters.

TheOakTree@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Have you ever cried because of a video game?6·24 days agoBring a blanket and a box of tissues. There is no “I’m too tough to cry” in this game, at least I don’t know anyone who hasn’t.
TheOakTree@lemmy.zipto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Have you ever cried because of a video game?201·25 days agoThat Dragon Cancer made me fucking weep.
Clair Obscur, God of War 2018, What Remains of Edith Finch, The Last of Us, Bastion, Halo: Reach, Firewatch, Celeste, Telltale’s The Walking Dead, FFXV, Baldur’s Gate 3, Shadow of the Colossus, and more, all made me tear up.
Can you tell I’m quite emotional about video games?
Cadence of Hyrule’s jazzy Song of Storms rendition. It’s very fitting as a ringtone for those out of the loop, and those in the loop usually get a kick out of it.
TheOakTree@lemmy.zipto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•OK, not to be runde or anything, but why is your banner AI generated1·1 month agoI don’t think it’s fair to think of model training as a one-and-done situation. It’s not like deepseek was designed and trained in one attempt. Every iteration of these models will require retraining until we have better continual learning implementations. Even when models are run locally, downloads signify demand, and demand calls for improved models, which means more training and testing is required.

That thing has an inbuilt DAC, as well as S/PDIF and USB inputs, so I’d imagine any device with enough processing power to play lossless audio files and has the proper drivers should be enough.
Kimchi can be sweet, but mostly from the cabbage during early stages of the fermentation. It’s definitely more of a underlying flavor, though.
