This is exactly the kind of insanity we need around here. I think some of these choices are bonkers and that’s great.

Yeah but imagine reading about a new release of something and it appearing in your updates the same day. Shiny new software every day is addicting.
I had the same thought. At panel 3 it’s just oh that’s nix with commas.

Yeah seems about right for this project. I really wanted this to be a serious browser, but nothing about this dude is serious.
Also I know he backed this statement up with much better testing but these AI brainrot things people say kill me: “I ran multiple passes of adversarial review, asking different models to analyze the code for mistakes and bad patterns.”

My 20TB zfs mirrored NAS. I’m not buying 40TB of ssds in this economy.

100%, all their constitution nonsense and everything else they say publically is kayfabe pretending their product is something it isn’t.

Why is he dressed like the joker?

I understand how agents work. I’m just saying it cannot “verify relevancy”. That’s a qualitative assessment that an LLM is incapable of doing. The scripts and regex that form the backbone of the “agent” can absolutely download a webpage and add the text contents to the context. But after that it’s just random bullshit.

checks the content on each page to verify relevancy,
No it can’t do that. It’s an LLM, it can only generate the next word in a sequence.
Also this doesn’t solve OPs problem at all. If it’s in the top 10 results on a major search engine then anyone can find it in minimal time.
Fucking AI bros being like I remade looking at 10 google links but this time it burns down a forest and tells me what a genius I am for asking.
Be old/conservative, want to have sex at 18 because hormones, you can’t unless you’re married, get hitched for life to the first attractive person who shows up, wake up in 10 years and realize you married a stranger and you don’t really get along.

One more gotcha in the AI booster arsenal: wrong model, wrong prompt, not enough agents, just don’t look at it. While none of those things addresses the actual issues of watching everyone piss away their money into the pit for no reason other than psychosis.

We install them without a second thought.
Do we?
The dude locked in the basement has the large missing piece. Walt is realizing he didn’t get through to him afterall and is going to have to kill him.

lol, the random text generator does not understand what any of those things are.

Did you even read the page you linked? It took less than 10 seconds to scroll down to the 'M’s.

That’s just it, you don’t need to grow. Just sell a useful product at a reasonable price.
I hear there’s some sort of AI mandate coming but no idea what it is yet. A few coworkers poke at chatGPT for basic coding questions. I will not use it for anything at this point. IT here is mostly useless contractors so they can’t tell what we’re doing and they can’t make us do anything. My direct reporting chain will back me working how I want to work so I don’t foresee any issues.
I fully recognize I’m in a highly privileged position that many others aren’t. But I’m going to take full advantage and keep my sanity.

Agreed, my biggest use case would be not uploading sensitive documents to shady websites.
And they’ve tied the dependency tree together such that you can’t disable them without entirely breaking updates.
