2·5 months agoi’m facing the same dilemma. i just recently left spotify. tidal and qobuz don’t have nearly enough of my favorite music, so i went with deezer. i really don’t want to give apple any more money, but i’m wondering which would be better…

immutable distros (e.g. fedora atomic desktops) are secure in the sense that they’re containerized. if that’s something you’re after, i don’t see why it wouldn’t be a good fit for you.
they do rely on flatpaks, so you’ll need to make sure davinci resolve comes as one. it doesn’t seem to be on flathub, but i do see someone else has packaged it. if that runs well, i think you’d have nothing to worry about.

i've seen a few that are clients for both the (microblogging) fediverse and bluesky,
app license platform fread apache 2.0 android agora mit web/pwa openvibe proprietary android & ios soraSNS proprietary ios but none seem to have any of the rest of the features, unfortunately.

it does. and with a community server (which can still be made invite-only), you can even make “forum” channels.
