Every interview i can find of him he sounds very american. Only when he said his name did I even hear a hint of a Chilean accent.

Also, I too do not like small talk or mindless chit chat. If I talk, it is is in depth and with a passion about the topic.

My grandmother and mother were not German just great grandmother.

I could also just get a job there as I’m in tech, I’m not quite fluent in German yet especially when it comes to tech jargon. But I’m getting there.

Ironic that my great grandmother fled fascism in Germany but I’d flee America to return to the motherland.
It helps to not have kids. Also helps to have a job with downtime, like when i. recompiling the software or publishing which takes forever sometimes.

I’m almost offended for my profession. Most of the programmers I know are quite tech literate, to the point it floors me when I find a coworker who is tech illiterate. Like, bro, it’s literally our job.
