Why would Magyar force out the president before anything bad has happened? That doesn’t look good either. Shouldn’t that only happen if the president abuses his veto powers? If it is only a ceremonial job, why not be a graceful winner and let him fulfill his term?
Why not? The current President was appointed under Orban, whom has infected and corrupted most Top functions. Time to clean up:

Because there is a split of power. Giving Magyar the power to change the president goes against the democratic values that we hope he brings back.
This is the guy who removed the word Russian from a post he made about a missile attack on civilians after the fact to fit with government narrative.
He’s not fit to represent the Republic.
I’d not like Magyar to choose his successor, but he’s got to go.
