In December work officially began on a multi-billion-dollar railway through Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan that will link China more closely with Europe, bypassing Russia.

There is zero friendship. Russia maintains a significant military presence in the far east. Meanwhile the border against NATO is completely undefended, everyone is in Ukraine. The kremlin gremlin knows NATO will never attack - but he’s not sure about China.
