The red cable on the right hand side with a black and white wire in it comes from the transformer. The smaller cable with two wires on the left hand side comes from the doorbell… I absolutely can’t remember how this was wired when I took it out to paint the wall… Any clues, guys? Dudes?
UPDATE: all right guys and dudes, after reading everything and a bunch of testing I was able to figure out that one things work by capping the black wire, connecting the red wire on the rear position of the chime, and connecting the two thin wires to the two other positions in the nuts. And to be clear whenever we change or upgrade the doorbell, we will definitely go with a non-bezos model, and for now, let it be known that our model is not even eligible for the nasty “search party” functionality.
