    So who’s paying for the lost wages and companies’ income?

    I’d suggest fossil oil and gas companies. The causal link was clearly shown by science, and everyone is liable for damages he or she causes. Including companies. Why should it be different this time?

      Fuck the fossil fuel industry. But what you’re saying is that’s gonna be us, the workers, paying for our own wages and our bosses lost profit when we pay double for the gas to go to work the days there isn’t a heatwave. If we had a way to punish fossil fuel companies we would’ve done it already and those policies wouldn’t be needed.
