Families of victims from the two fatal Boeing 737 MAX crashes expressed deep grief and anger following a decision by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) late Friday not to proceed with a criminal trial against Boeing. The DOJ announced it would recommend a non-prosecution agreement (NPA) to the court, allowing Boeing to withdraw from an earlier guilty plea related to conspiracy to defraud the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Rich enough to just pay off the DOJ. Boycott boeing. It’s possible to see which plane is being used for a flight, isn’t it?

Yes, most airlines list the aircraft type on their ticketing pages. But due to US hub and spoke transporation model in some cases you don’t really have a choise who to travel with as some airlines have near monopoly on cerain routes and they might be just using single company’s airplanes for training and maintanance purposes.

Yeah, boycott where possible. It’s impossible to be pure. But nice to know that you can check what kind of aircraft will be used. Would be cool to be able to filter by aircraft when buying tickets.
