    You can infer that the patient was a male otherwise the doc would’ve said it was menstrual cramps.

    Seriously, if you’re a woman trying to get medical advice, might as well walk out if the doc comes in and it’s an older man. My fiancé has told me about having two fractured ribs dismissed by a male doctor as period cramps “triggered” by her fall. Only later did they order an X-ray when the whole left side of her chest turned black.
