Without knowing too much about the protests in Italy this video really makes them look bad. Half the video is just vandalism that looks like it’s from people who don’t give a fuck about Palestine and just want to trash things. Makes the police look justified in giving them the beating…
If you want to convince anyone (your government or fellow citizens (although I’d be curious how many of these “protesters” are actually Italian)) this is not the way.
peaceful protest do not have leverage to change anything.
everything you have been taught about the power of non violent protest have been manufactured as a means of control. now violence can mean a lot of things, which include preventing access to infustructure to throwing molotovs at police.
to get leverage, you must have a sympathetic media presence, and failing that a threat that is ready to be acted upon
