  • I agree. While The transparency is good to see, there are quite a few things listed that she would need as a cis woman to look like that. Underarm laser, tattoos and piercings, botox, lip filler, hair cuts and dyeing, nails, even the BA would be a requirement for most cis women to have boobs like that.

I think this makes as much of a point about unrealistic beauty standards derived from wealthy celebrities/influencers as it does trans healthcare.

  • Body contouring surgery usually involves suctioning fat cells from one part of your body (e.g. waist) and injecting them in another location (e.g. butt). The waist->butt transfer is also called a brazilian butt lift (bbl). This is by no means exclusive to trans women, but is sometimes used to deal with fat that doesn’t readily redistribute from hrt alone.

There are other procedures sometimes included with the jaw shaping in whats called facial feminization surgery (ffs) such as brow/eye socket shaping, a nosejob, or implants. A prominent “adam’s apple” can be smoothed out with a tracheal shave. Voices are usually modified through voice training, which teaches you to adjust your pitch and resonance without physical intervention, but there is a surgery for shortening the vocal cords.

There’s also a range of options that fall in the “bottom” surgery category, from an orchiectomy (removing the testes) to full gender/sex reassignment surgery, where they remove the external genitalia entirely, usually to create a vulva and/or vagina.
