Like all places online, people and sub-communities vary, but that’s mostly the vibe I get whenever browsing the comments of just about anything that hits my instance’s All page.

Lifehack!! Add before:2026 to the end of any YouTube search and it will no longer show you “also recommended for you” or “people also watched” bullshit. Just the search results you should have been shown in the first place will remain.
