I like how the trigger appears to just be a machine screw.

Intensifier tubes are expensive. Mo’ tubes, mo’ expensive.
I think they’re still riding off the high where the manufacturers didn’t sell quads to civilians so basically every unit available was laundered through law enforcement channels or straight up stolen government property.

We need an assumed and exclusive right to our own likenesses and fast.
Lots of Nazis and pro-Russia “Z” shit though.

In no particular order:
It is in basically every surplus store, and it is cheap…because hardly anyone wants it.

IIRC Burger King was one of, if not the first companies to use computerized inventory/bookkeeping. And they used it to try and crack down on employees giving away extra food. It was a giant waste of money.

I think this program will really come apart when the Army inevitably learns that SIG’s claims that “excess wear” was accounted for in engineering are a total fucking lie and guns start getting beaten to death in droves by 80k PSI.

I honestly cringe whenever people write a college dissertation in the comments trying to straighten out gun facts. One, people need to learn some brevity. Two, it seems like the topic of guns is probably one of the worst offenders for info dumps. I think it’s because weapons are tied to masculinity, and showing that you know about weapons is a subconscious urge to prove your masculinity to others. Even though knowing gun facts in a vacuum isn’t all that impressive nor does it actually prove that you’re masculine or professional or dangerous or however you’d want to interpret it.

This meme is old enough that the .45/1911 worship wasn’t even a fudd thing, it was a huge section of the gun community if not the majority. The era of the Para Ordnance double stack being taken seriously and the Springfield TRP Operator being the ultimate combat pistol, at least if you couldn’t afford a Wilson. All sorts of actual high speed guys were turning their noses up at 9mm to get their hands on a .45.

The T65 and T91 seem to be pretty good, but the first comment is correct. M4A1 is probably cheaper and is very capable if not more so.
That said, they should have spent the money on issuing decent optics to the existing rifles. They are at least 30 years behind the curve on this and a lot of things from what little I’ve heard.

IMO just having your personal device on you in the presence of a protest puts you in danger. They have ample tools to track cellular devices that basically cannot be guarded against without disabling the function altogether, such as with a Faraday bag. They will catch and log that you were at a protest, and use that against you later.
He literally just doesn’t like seeing them from his golf courses. That’s it, that’s the entire reason.
