The point would probably be everyone’s probably cut out for actually living in a gentle and egalitarian world. We’d just bring our baggage into it and ruin it for everyone else. There probably was a time where I was but I got it beat out of me and now I just find dudes fortnite dancing at the dead Nazi’s wife irreconcilably funny. But it’s more because actual in this current zeitgeist they’re so far beyond the reach of any actual consequences.

I can’t reconcile that situation with my desire to live in a world where we don’t fuck with people. And I don’t really think holding back and showing them kindness prompts the various Kirks of the world to look at anyone differently. It never protected me anyway.

That kind of is the actual Ubermensch mentality, I guess. I respect that morality but I also know what they’d do to you for the crime of just being a gentle person.

What does in mean if they all just kind of sublimated into a baseline of shittiness that I can expect from people but no longer pick a single interaction?
