No, there are chances a bot might leave the bot account option unchecked. In such cases mods or users who detect such an account will ban or block it, I think.

There is an option in settings to turn off bot accounts. Right?
In my opinion, lemmy is far better than reddit.
Also you are in a more popular instance, that can also be a reason you are seeing more bot accounts.

11·20 days agoI said these browsers currently allow installing MV2 extensions; I didn’t predict about the future. Ok, ungoogled chromium will remove the flag in the future, and it can also affect helium. But it’s in the future; currently that flag is still there.
Brave is sued for its shady practices, ok! But we are talking about the installation of Manifest V2 extensions in the Chromium-based browsers, which the title explicitly says Firefox is the only browser that now allows you to install ublock origin, which is misleading. Brave still supports ublock origin, no matter if someone hates the browser or someone found it self-hosted.
So what do you guys find bad about me mentioning Brave? Also please mention a word: I’m saying these browsers are going to support MV2 extensions (ublock origin) forever.

This was really helpful and redirected my thoughts down a different path. I need more free time to even think about this. Humanity and existence are more complex than I thought.
So everyone we see and we interact with is actually us in different levels of consciousness or knowledge about everything, even people with completely different mentalities.
Most of the time I try to imagine myself in other people’s lives. Like, what if I am an orphan or a beggar? As a beggar, if I get ill, how do I treat myself, etc.? Will they allow me in hospitals? And all the thoughts end in uncomfortable ways about life. When I talk about this to others, they don’t like this at all and ignore me completely.
Don’t know why, but I am refusing to be like others and continue to follow these weird thoughts. Currently I am completely alone, and my thoughts have become powerful enough that they can’t be changed anymore.

Yes. At the beginning I preferred distro’s specifically with a graphical software manager. Now i force uninstall it and use terminal for anything.
