as a French speaker, I’d say the same about French… I don’t know how many languages are based strongly on logic though

ah, I was wondering because, in comparison to my native tongue (French), I’ve found English significantly more intuitive. I may be biased though, or French may just be another mongrel of a language 😅
My uneducated feeling so far is that most languages weren’t developed with particularly logical rules, and rules were added retroactively, and as such, most languages are ugly amalgamations, but English gets some of the worst rep because of its dominance on the internet.

out of curiosity, do you speak another language than English?

What’s your max volumetric flow? Have you tried printing with a really low max volumetric flow (e.g., 4mm³/s)?
I’ve had very misleading results with the max volumetric flow test, and I wonder if your printer may be struggling to push the filement through at your max speed.
Orca can show you the flow rate of each layer, which varies throughout the print due to the min layer time. I’m curious if you may find more failures at certain flow rates.

would I have to stay a dictator? because I’d be instilling a democracy ASAP

Please enlighten me, what’s the illusion?

I love Grist!
My wife and I were frequent Google Sheet users and since a few years ago we started using Grist a lot. We tried some other alternatives before, but none of them felt even close to right for us.

Nix and NixOS
I installed Linux on a secondary hard drive in case I needed to get back on Windows for anything. So far it’s been a few months and I haven’t needed to, so I’m considering having Windows in a virtual machine or just getting rid of Windows instead.

I personally love WebP and other innovative formats, I don’t wish them dead, because better compression saves time and bandwidth.
However, for saving stuff on my computer, like you, I would tend to go for more supported formats.
I’m mostly just sad that it takes so long for new formats to be widely supported.

why?

oh wow, I really wish I had known that last time I was looking for mini PCs for my cluster, I’m saving that now. Thank you!

Do you know what empathy is?
As an immigrant, I’ll say this as politely as I can: fuck you. I really wish skidmarks like you would stop trying to risk my life to gain brownie points with their tankie friends.

I feel like every time I’ve suggested pnpm I got eyerolls :(

Thanks for letting me know! That’s one thing I was worried about, but I may very well give it a shot anyway. Luckily, I’m not opposed to messing in the terminal, I do it for work nearly every day :P Messing with PCI Addresses would be new though!

Have you run some demanding games in that VM? And what virtualisation have you been using?
I’ve been thinking about trying that out with QEMU/KVM.
My wife and I have also returned to Valheim during the holidays 😂
We didn’t get far on our first playthrough, we barely got past the swamp, but this time we’re about to get to the mistlands!
