It’s the economic version of recycling and your “carbon footprint.”
Nevermind the gigantic, multinational, conglomerate corporate monsters that are destroying everything- the environment, the economy, democracy, etc. It’s actually your fault personally for not inconveniencing yourself every day to make zero difference.

Grinding it out day after day is factory line work. While that work is noble, the way it’s conducted doesn’t apply across the board. Task-oriented jobs should trust workers to complete tasks, not punch a time clock.
It’s about control. Tech bro billionaires are the only geniuses on earth, and we all need to fall in line. Nevermind that they are literal fascists who are actively destroying the world.
It sounds like an exaggeration, but efforts to combat climate change have grinded to a halt; WW3 is becoming more likely on multiple fronts; and, the most immediate problem not being addressed, the cost of living crisis is drowning virtually everyone. Let’s dispel with this illusion that Meta doesn’t know exactly what it’s doing. Hate speech, compromising US National security for access to Chinese markets, dumbing down political discourse and literally everything else, manipulating hundreds of millions of people to make them insecure and more vulnerable to advertising.
Meta is as evil as evil gets. All confirmed by insider whistleblowers. They paid to play, so they’ll get away with it. Just know what you’re supporting when you participate in their ecosystem.
