NobodyElse@sh.itjust.worksto Technology@lemmy.world•Boarding passes and check-in could be scrapped in air travel shake-upEnglish4·2 months agoI think the lesson to be learned is that everything works in the demo (except when it doesn’t), but when it’s deployed to thousands of sites by the cheapest contractors, operated by untrained and unmotivated personnel, and not calibrated or maintained over its lifetime… the reliability goes down a bit.
That sounds amazing
