Look, I know what everyone says about Evil Blood Cult, but there just aren’t a lot of jumping off points as a young farmer. One of the biggest reasons i stick around, is just the slower pace and lack of algorithms. If i check in the morning, there’s a good chance that the same content will be trending in the afternoon or evening so I’m less inclined to scroll.

So you can either kill yourself trying to achieve unachievable levels of amazing, or go do something you want to do.

There are several ‘edits’ you can put together online that are actually way better than the movies. They cut out a lot of the nonsense and trim around excess to provide a 2-ish hour movie that feels choppy but good.

I used to really dig Linus, i watched from NCIX up until a few years ago. I stopped watching for a bunch of reasons. I remember when he said one of the things he wanted to do when starting a company was ensure everyone that worked for him could “afford a house”, then to see how he treated people and kept them at low wages was a bummer.

I mean, i guess when you grow that big that fast some things get left out, but i also feel like maybe exponential growth isn’t always a necessity?

Also it seems like he’s one of the only personalities online that has not increased in technical ability at all.
