Immich is set up because I really like the image processing for things like seeing a timeline of my son’s pictures as he grows up. Pretty nifty addon to all that.

This would certain fit more into “Unpopular Opinion” thread. To each their own here, but if a person needs an expensive piece of carbon as a token of how much affection I have for them, then I’m finding a different person.

Some people express their affection in gifts. Some express them in actions. You might be the former, sir, and that’s alright if that’s how you want to live your life.

I’m pretty sure this is the video I used to setup mine awhile back. I have my deluge docker networked into Gluetun. Everything else flows normal.

Man how has no one said Friends? That’s basically a white noise machine on loop for our house.

Both my wife and I found industry specific headhunters with them being healthcare and engineering focused. I would think high level IT has some bleed in with Engineering. X4 Engineering recruiting was the most aggressive company I worked with and had me with an interview within a week or initial contact. Google was our friend to start with, and I’ll be the first to say that recruiters are extremely hit or miss. Some I feel do nothing…

What is your field of experience in? Healthcare, engineering, etc ?

I’ve been out of work for just at two weeks now. Been searching for a new job since about Jan 1st. Got a few small bites, but nothing really. The real changer for me was when I changed my LinkedIn from “Only Recruiters can see I’m Open to Work” to “Everyone can see” I got swarmed… now, that being said. Have not gotten any actual offers yet, but a lot more traction which I do feel will lead to an offer soon. My dynamic is a bit different as due to noncomplete and a significant distaste for the Deep South, relocation is also a requirement for me.

The amount of content was nice from reddit. Eventually, I’m sure this platform will get there.

The 3rd party app change didn’t sit well with me. Ended up stop using reddit on my phone entirely since native was horrible. Ended up coming here when the crackdown on “Luigi” was happening and other censorship that was questionable AF. The amount of content here obviously isn’t comparable to reddit, yet, but it’s enough to digest throughout the day on work poop breaks and whatnot. :)
