Yeah I only play indie games these days. But I purchase them instead of downloading, as they deserve my money.

There are direct links on Fitgirl too. I try to stay clear of torrents as well but that’s out of luxury from using usenet (for which I pay monthly next to Proton VPN). I also try to stay clear of direct download sites as I don’t trust them.

But Fitgirl has well working games, adds game updates and doesn’t have spyware/malware or anything like that AFAIK. There’s also Elamigos (or something like that) but I’ve seen many corrupted clones out there. There are also Fitgirl clone sites but a simple search will get you the official one.

I started downloading games again too, as most of the releases are complete shit. Bug simulators with poor stories. Empty money-grab scams with loads of expensive DLC’s.

But if there’s a game you enjoy playing, I’d recommend purchasing it to support the devs. Like Larian Studios who made Baldur’s Gate 3. That game is worth the money.

And if you purchase a game, do it through GoG. Because there you purchase the game which becomes your property, instead of purchasing the rights to play a game which isn’t yours like with all the other platforms.

I used to play harp when I was a teenager. But haven’t touched that in 20 years. I like synths because they make amazing sounds which are very versatile, and it’s possible to make an entire song yourself by sequencing.

Downloading music illegally avoids giving money to the bad companies but the artists still need to get paid. They can’t work for free. They deserve our money. So please share music, but also support the artists. Through bandcamp for example.

We were talking about earth. In Star Trek earth is nice.

I used total commander when I was young, but I like the folder tree view and the massive amount of options to personalize it to my needs. Also the flawless network drive and ftp compatibility, tabs, it’s own file transfer system and mass file renaming function. Haven’t found something similar yet (but maybe didn’t search well enough). Oh and color options, so my screens are all dark view exactly the way I want it.

I so much want to, but the programs I run are partly windows only. I don’t know how to switch yet. Next to that, I tried Linux once but was unable to reach netwerk drives from my NAS. I tried everything, none of the solutions I found actually worked. I seem to have a curse running into issues no one else had. Struggling my whole life with that. Today I spent the entire day fixing Kodi, which suddenly stopped working. None of the solutions on internet worked. I managed to fix it my own way, eventually. Just to play a video without losing my “videos watched”.

MS is working hard to force me though. I’m almost as far as to say goodbye to apps I’ve used my whole life. Like Directory Opus for example.

I actually paid 1,30 per gram but only when I bought a larger quantity. But with my home dealer it’s 15 per gram, 5 for friends. Tested 86% pure needles. Perks of living in The Netherlands, cheap top quality dope with fast home delivery. Can be tested in every city. Yet there are only few homeless people and no dope crisis. Drugs are cheaper than groceries, also delivered within 15 minutes while groceries take 1 to 2 days. Guess what I’ll be consuming tonight instead of dinner!
