Don’t compare numbers with sites like reddit. The quality of engagement is really good on lemmy. You can talk to real humans here.

Normalize it by praising God for all the terrible things.

By showing it

it’s a 6 char expression arr[::-1] lol.

Be evil!

It won’t die so easily because it holds all the niche communities. I’d prefer them on the fediverse though.

That even minor discomfort is an enemy and should be treated with medication or distractions.

Microslop windows is the virus

In some countries it’ll take over 130 years.
Luckily I believe in a version of heaven that has unlimited computers. I would spend eternity writing Rust and Haskell without worrying about deadlines or running out of Ram.

Buddhist monks are read a mindfulness manual—Satipattana sutta by their caregivers. It is said to make your last moments peaceful.
God. No.

Unless you invented some new form of encryption why are you generating so much ai slop?
Just reuse human made cryptography libraries that are battle tested. Then you won’t have to do disastrous things like putting ai to review your ai slop.
You know that it lies, gaslights, writes or deletes production databases, tests etc as it pleases.
If we define smart as “AI powered”, then all of them.

Really interesting.
The ocd in me wants to point out that the question is about losing body parts and surviving. You cannot lose what you were never born with. 😅

Hi @moseschrute@lemmy.world. Blorp is equal to summit in features and ui—sometimes even ahead. For example emoji reactions and image loading speed, swiping image posts etc.
And I have both on my phone and keep switching between them.
The main reason I prefer summit is because the ui is very snappy on my phone. There’s no lag or skipped frames during animations or after clicking a button.
One issue I had with blorp is: when you click on a lemmy link summit opens it inside the app itself but blorp opens it in the browser. It breaks the flow and I can’t interact with it because I’m not logged in there. Hope that made sense.

Ranking is based on personal preferences.

I believe there are underlying reasons for everything we do. So our behavior is ultimately determined by these causes.
So free will is only an illusion but you are still responsible for your actions.
I know it sounds radical but—don’t blame abusers or criminals. They are victims of biology and circumstances.
Don’t “punish“ them but lock them up and rehabilitate them to prevent further harm. It’s like how you cage and domesticate a wild animal that is killing humans. You are not punishing it. You are preventing it from killing more people.
I know it subjectively after interacting on lemmy / piefed.
The philosophy behind the fediverse tends to attract a chill crowd that wants to just discuss and pass time without an agenda—like selling products or karma farming. It also keeps bots at a minimum.
