!peertube@lemmy.world is a good place in conjunction with Peertube. Makertube and peertube.wtf are good servers for video.
That’s the one I like. Or piefeds mobile on Firefox.
Yep! We come from all over.
Woo! That’s awesome. I am seeing quite a few more people.
We are already successful, I’m seeing stories, news articles, and videos that normally would never get pushed to the top. We can actually talk about things without overwhelming censorship, strange algorithms, or ads.
I usually just take a look at the code with a get request. Then if it looks good, then run manually. Most of the time, it’s fine. Sometimes there’s something that would break something on the system.
I haven’t seen anything explicitly nefarious, but it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Sometimes you have to go where the people are.
I’ve found more people in my local area are on ig. Not on reddit, so it’s easy in my local area. But it’s one company for another.

It’s very difficult to use. As a dev, it’s not the greatest.
Looks like annonomus is saying they took it down.
Mine is !peertube@lemmy.world ;)
To those of you as admins on Mastodon, adding a very basic CAPCHA stops it auto creating accounts.
I have a local mastodon that we maintain.
