But for me forgejo worked out well for my side projects and mirroring.

It helps! Ive seen it with two jobs completely change the culture around code review.

• Instead of you/team lead being the bad guy, its now the code/process.
• Code becomes more stable and releases actually become more frequent.
• If something goes wrong, your VM/docker/box/etc… can just be re-spun up by the same process.
• Easier to onboard since the same build process is in the CI. And is constantly being used rather than relying on the README (that may not have been updated in a while).

Mind you its not perfect of course. You can still “Vibe” test and/or remove tests that dont work. And make the project more brittle. Or go overboard with lint rules (I actually had to break up a fight with that one). But its much better than the old process of merge and pray.

Make ci/cd part of the process. It stops a lot of people who push huge unmaintanable changes.

If it doesent pass the tests and cant build then it stops them from merging.

I had a terracube. It litterally broke apart in my hands. The glue for the screen stopped working. And i tried to get it repaired only to be told they didnt support the first phone anymore. After less than two years.

I now have a fairphone 4. Much better device!

It works in the states as well. And all apps too. I guess my only complaint is parts are getting hard to come by for fairphone 4. Which is why i bought the phone, to be repairable.

I dont typically like rougelikes in any form. But the story, gameplay loop, and music is some of the best.

Hadies 2 just made everything better.

Ive had a couple of these. I find that the jack itself sometimes will not work or the audio is VERY bad. The last one I got was for 10$ and seemed to do the trick. But it took 3 tries to find an adapter that didnt have an issue.

One I bought at wallmart, one at amazon, one at an audio-store. The final one was given to me and worked first try! I thought it was my usbc adapter until that point on my phone…but my steam deck had the same issues with the usb-c to audio jack.

I wonder if companies are cheaping out with the components since its a small market. Audiophiles are going to default to using audio-jack. And consumers are just getting bluetooth whatevers. People that want ot direct connect usbc are not the norm. Or at least thats what it feels like to me.

I would pay for a company to come out with one of these pre-loaded onto a Fairphone. Seriously.
