Booting from USB drives has worked well for me
No genuine good open source project is dying because it is getting replaced by LLM slop code. People that need stable and secure software and know what they are doing would never use LLM made software.
What LLMs do destroy is peoples patience in dealing with bug reports and forum communication. Those are getting overrun with LLM generated garbage replies.

They actually extradited her despite a court order explicitly blocking it. German cops are just fascist bastards like cops everywhere in the world. Protecting literal neonazis is their job i guess.

Uuh yeah i do (because taxes), but its being funneled into the pockets of corrupt politicians, the car industry and AI slop.

bit rude innit?
I expected this to be a Mickey7 post ngl

Mattermost is dead. Just forget about it.

Google Drive, Dropbox or Onedrive?
I only use syncthing (website / android app) for all my file syncing needs. Its peer to peer so requires no server or account, but its not like a cloud where you download stuff on demand, but rather a way to keep folders of your choosing always synchronised/mirrored between your devices.
So in practice i have my pictures, music, documents and keepassxc database (password manager) folders synced to my desktop and then i have a “stuff” folder for random junk i want to exchange between my phone, desktop, laptop, tablet, etc.
It might not be for everyone, but my family and i love it, because stuff is just instantly there when you need it. We also have a family folder now that is synced to all of us so we can exchange large numbers of pictures, videos, movies, music, etc.
It doesnt support publishing things to people that arent using syncthing though, so if you want to be able to just send a browser openable link to people to share stuff, then you should look to nextcloud instead.

As others said, large meetings with many video feeds at the same time.

Most of these are still relevant issues afaik, so yeah… appimages are just not a solution for everything. Same as stuff like flatpak and snap. These are nice for when you just need some little standalone app that doesnt do a lot of compute heavy stuff, but they will never replace native implementations.

Im dumb. Is it a play on pores?

TLDR
New law will not apply to flags of Finland, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, and regional or international organizations such as UN and EU
You want to install SteamOS on your desktop PC? Because thats not officially supported. You can still do it, but you might get unlucky with hardware compatibility. Its primarily intended for use with custom hardware like handhelds or for dedicated gaming machines that you would put in your living room.
If you just want a desktop OS that can be used for productivity, but also goes well with gaming, i would choose something else.
Popular choices are CachyOS or Bazzite if you want to have very up to date software, but personally im just running good old debian even if it does not have the absolute latest drivers.
Unless something is badly configured, there shouldnt be a major difference between any of these distros game performance wise, so its more about what you like in terms of UX and UI.

How is 10% reasonable. They just transfer money from A to B while showing people some static html text about the options. They basically do nothing.

What roguelike are you playing? I am looking to have an addiction.

Good point yeah

Also GPS is oneway, so there is no way for the US to spy on people with it. They can however block regions as a form of sanctions, so you should never rely on it.
