In theory yes, but nowadays, it feels more and more like it’s just the current events. They don’t even need to try anymore…
how can you even satirize something that’s a satire of itself?
like the veil is now silk-thin and there’s no point, crazy times we live in.
Satire doesn’t equal made up. It usually takes some existing phenomenon and dials it up to absurdity.
