I have swiss army knife, it’s 19 years old so not quite 20, i use it everyday. I take it on every longer journey and there’s virtually no situation where it doesn’t help in some way… even if it’s the silly toothpick, I’m always happy to have it.
Kitchen utensils, Cupboards, furnitures, framed pictures, our car & some tools.
A lot of my books. Two harddrives in my server. My couch. My tables. My chairs. My bike. A computer case. A laptop.
Some are not just over 20, they’re over 50 or in some cases over 100. In one case more than 300. I’ll let you guess which would be which.
The laptop is 300+.
My first Costco purchase was 19 years ago, my Philips 47” LCD TV is still alove and kicking and has outlived 2 other TVs we have had in that time.
Many kitchen and furniture items but if you are talking about things that usually go obsolete, a CRT computer monitor from 1984 (Commodore 1702).
I have a 100+ year old singer I sometimes still use. The old machines are very sturdy and can punch through leather and canvas. It was my great grandmothers, then aunts, now mine.

I have an upright piano that was made in 1914.
In retrospect I wish I had gotten a newer/smaller piano… that thing weighs as much as a small car and it’s volume is more appropriate for a concert hall than a house.
We got it from a piano restoration company that sold it to us for just the cost of moving it because they have too many ancient uprights that no one wants.
My plush toys. I talk to them. I cuddle them. I have a spreadsheet with all information about them that I make up to create stories (name, gender, family, close friends, disabilities, personnality…).
Some are recent but some have more than 20 years.
Let’s see. Kitchen table is a solid wood thing from at least the 70s. The chairs in the dining room table are a set of 200 year old antiques I found on Craigslist. I have a vanity that was built by an old steamfitter in the 1920s.
In the workshop, there’s all sorts of old stuff. My jointer is built like a tank and hails from Eisenhower administration. And then I have numerous hand planes that are over a century old.
A wall clock that was gifted to my grandparents on their marriage anniversary, and I’ve been fighting everyone in the house to keep it.
That clock is close to 40 years old, and still is functional. It’s a simple clock made in Germany. No protective glass or a seconds hand. Just a plain clock that has turn brown over time. Everyone in my home thinks it’s trash. I think it’s an engineering marvel.
I thought you meant you were competing over who gets to be the owner, but no. Keep fighting that good fight! Perhaps inviting your household to its 40th birthday will win hearts and minds.

My tabletop radio was made in 1958, it’s still in perfect working order.
My entire living room audio setup is from the early 1970’s.
Our kitchen has a Kenwood mixer/multi-apparatus from 1982, I changed the motor grease ~10 years ago and it works like new. Most of our kitchenware is inherited and at least 50 years old.
My oldest guitar is from 1950’s and the newest maybe late 1990’s.
Now that I’ve come to think of it, most part of the things I own and actively use actually predate the 1990’s.
Craftsman multimeter(maybe 25 yrs). My uncle gave it to me. It’s from the durable era of consumer electronics.
My electric stove/oven has been in my apartment since 1993, it’s getting replaced on Thursday. When I moved in 10 years ago they asked if I wanted to replace it but didn’t see a reason to if it still worked fine, it had a good run and I’ve cooked so much on it but it has gotten real bad lately so sadly it has to go. Excited to get a glass top one (not induction) with 4 cooking zones, my old one only has 3.
