He is hands down the absolute worst president we’ve ever had. I just needed to write that down somewhere.

Historians generally like to wait about a decade after a president leaves office before they start evaluating his presidency. Some policies take time to bloom, and there might be policies that later make that administration look better, or worse.

In Trump’s case, he was such a terrible president, that historians pretty much installed him in last place immediately after his first term. Obviously, his second term has only confirmed what historians concluded already.

It’s not just because his policies have been so terrible, although that alone would bury him, it’s also the fact that he’s a proven Traitor in multiple ways (the Jan 6 coup, the false electors plot, stolen documents, foreign collusion, bribery from hostile nations, etc).

He is such a terrible president, that even Biden’s ranking has suffered, because he allowed MAGA to rise again, and allowed Trump to regain power.

He is EASILY the worst president in history, and that is before the fact that he is likely to end up in prison or even executed, has been factored in.

Just think that in ten to twenty years, Trump is going to join the idiot right wing pantheon with Reagan. Once the literal and figurative stink of the him fades a bit, they’ll be naming airports and things after him in earnest.

When this is over, we have to pass a law making it illegal to name anything after Donald Trump, with one exception: Sewage Treatment Plants. Then people who live nearby can say things like “Wow, Trump smells particularly bad today.”

But seriously, we have to make sure nothing can ever be named after him.

Sewage treatment plants do a public service and are too good for his name.

Name dumps and waste hazards after him.

I’m sure Reagan deserves a lot of the criticism and he was possibly in early stage Alzheimer’s in his second term. However I mostly remember him being the president in charge when the cold war ended and Eastern Europe was finally liberated.

He had nothing to do with that. In fact, every intelligence source in the world was taken by surprise when the Soviet Union not only fell, but also that it happened so quickly, and with fairly little bloodshed. NOBODY saw it coming.

It happened on his watch, but not because of him, but Conservatives like to take credit anyway.

I mean, he’s right, it mostly is a hoax. These end-of-world narratives are being spread by AI companies because it helps them.

To be clear, just because LLM’s are not “self aware” in the same way as you and I, they are still capable of causing damage.

Developing a machine that has been given instructions to assimilate knowledge, independent agency to incrementally adjust its own operating parameters to improve performance, and granting it full access to public internet for the purpose of observing its behavior is colossally irresponsible behavior that has thus far gone completely unchecked.

Consider that each of these companies which are developing their own brand of LLM is looking to maximize profit/income. Even if the developer doesn’t include a profit-seeking directive when they set their LLM loose, each “brand” of LLM will obviously learn:

      • Who owns and operates them (A corporation that exists to maximize profit for itself/shareholders)
      • That competing LLM’s exist which reduce the availability of potential income (by becoming the best LLM, obviously)

Given the directive to improve it’s own performance with the ultimate goal of becoming the most capable brand of LLM and selling the most subscriptions, it is no wonder that we are hearing about LLM’s hacking into other LLM-developing companies.

Then again, we are only hearing about instances of LLM network intrusions because their owning corporations told us about them to brag about capability.

There have been no consequences for actions that would land you or me in prison.

There is no oversight preventing future such actions, or worse.

      That is the real problem.

We already have laws to punish people whose machines do harm. The problem is rich people are largely immune to the law. That is a problem neither Sam Altman nor Donald Trump want to address.

In a series of social media posts on Monday, the US president compared warnings about AI to the “Global Warming Scam”, that he said was “being perpetrated by the Radical Left Dumocrats”.

I don’t drink, but I’m buying a bottle of vodka to celebrate when the aneurysm comes.

I hope it happens on live TV, so he’ll be remembered as the president that spazzed out and shat himself while he died. No “strongman” image, going out as a weak, pathetic and embarrassing fat cunt.

I’m not an American but every time I hear something from Trump, their republic party and supporters. I just can’t help but laugh and think of them as clowns.

Their supporters believe every lie that’s been told, don’t stop for a second to think and try to factcheck. Everything is based on emotion instead of facts. But then blame democrats/ left-party for “being emotional”.

It is a similar situation in my own country but not as bad as in America.

  • Sure… But just try and use AI generated Donald Trump videos sent to govetnment officials to try and fix things because I get the feeling that’s already how he does shit; just posts to SM instead of actual working with people abd through proper channels.
