It was such an embarrassing movie. Like truly uncomfortable to watch as one character struggled to follow the other, until they changed tempo and topic completely. I adore every moment, but particularly how utterly natural the discomfort was, and how you have to sit in it
Have you ever seen Smiling Friends? If not, you should watch the special where they go to Brazil. That episode might be one of the most natural feeling pieces of media I’ve ever seen.
I have. The little touches of insecurity and fruitless finger pointing were hilariously on-point.
Not to mention the most accurate phone call ever depicted in fiction.
I can’t quite make myself conceive that this really happened.
