In hopes of helping out mobile linux, I decided to bolster its supply of mobile games. I don’t know if mobile Linux needs mobile games, but I make games as a hobby and want to try to help out however I can. The code is open source and the game has been tested on my Librem 5. Code can be found on GitLab.
edit: The game also has a build that runs on 64-bit systems. In all it runs on 64-bit Linux/Windows and arm Linux/Windows.
I appreciate you taking the time to both play it and come back to me with critiques. I had some ideas for alternate modes like a timed one with a greater starting speed and one with “power ups” (one that increases the size of your swipe, one that freezes the screen, maybe some fruit like a pomegranate where you slice it open then have to slice 3-5 seed parts). I will play around more with the collisions and inspect more. May I ask which OS/architecture you were using?
I made some adjustments to collisions without noticeably impacting performance on mobile. If you’re open to give it another try I would appreciate your feedback.
Great ideas!
