It’s good as a first degree for some fields that require more than one degree. Philosophy to Law is pretty common, since philosophy forces you to try to think of scenarios in different frameworks, as well as deconstruct arguments and viewpoints.
Philosophy on it’s own, does not open up nearby any non-university jobs though
its doable if you become a phd though, but you probably wont get tenure anytime soon. probably as adjunt. if its just a bachelors like with psych, its unlikely. i took a class where the instructor was doing his philosophy doctorate.
