Not sure how well this will work for all bugs, mosquitos, etc
I was actually was discussing this with my partner, while real dragonflies eat mosquitoes the fake one doesn’t scare them because they aren’t smart enough to avoid predators.
Having a thermacell insect repellent device would help with many bugs. You can get a tabletop one if you are in one place and it isn’t too windy.
