Honestly, I would technically fall under omnisexuality, but I’ve always just called myself bi. People know what bisexual means. If I say I’m omni or pan, I have to explain.

For those curious, the distinction is that omni is attraction to all genders, but with differences in attraction based on gender (ie: I have more sexual attraction towards masculine gender expressions and more romantic attraction towards more feminine gender expressions). Pansexuality is attraction to all genders equally regardless of gender expression.

Honestly, I think the distinctions only have meaning if you hold them to be meaningful. There is too much “oh you’re not this, you’re this,” when it’s all just labelling. I call myself bisexual, but feel attraction to all genders, because attraction is more complex than the social labels we apply. If you care about the labels, more power to you, but don’t apply them to others unless they wish it. For example, I’ve had people try to convince me that I’m transphobic or enbyphobic because I call myself bisexual. Language changes, and the rules are made up.
