Hey, don’t lump the rest of the Midwest in with whatever Indiana is doing. Each state has their own proud abominations, thank you.

For the record, I’ve also received this “pork loin sandwich” treatment in the southwest Chicago suburbs in Illinois and outside of Branson in southwest Missouri. They always have mayo, but variations have added pickle and/or a slice of tomato.

At one point I lived near a place that served pizzas with schnitzels for a crust.

Also would twist them around and do pizza cone type things.

It was less bad than you’d think, unfortunately.

pizzas with schnitzels for a crust.

That doesn’t sound too far from chicken parmesan.

Kinda? It’s just that once you start putting random toppings in there it crosses a conceptual line. If you thought pineapple on pizza was controversial, you should have seen that menu.

Thing is, they called em Texas tenderloins. Let me tell you about the disappointment when I finally left sIN for TX and was utterly disappointed that my childhood was a lie.

Mmm, i love pork loin sandwiches. Fold that slab up like a trifold and youd get 2-3 nice big sandwiches 🤤
