Trying to configure Hyprland on NixOS and MY GODDDDD why am I writing lua generators in nix!!! Wasn’t it just “x = y” before? WHYYYYYYYY???
Back for Edit: ok but WHYYYYYYYY, what’s the use of a declarative config if it’s all [{_args=[(lib.generators.mkLuaInline "...")];}]!!! I’m so mad
Sometimes I wonder if I’m missing out on the latest shit by running plain debian, but then posts like this remind me that I’m avoiding entire realms of suffering.
Same (but Fedora immutable), I occasionally look at NixOS and inevitably decide to let it cook some more (especially the doco). Stability is nice. One day…
I kind of miss the peace of mind tbh, it’s just crack
I feel you. I havent tampered around with Nix, but I am working on my Emacs config and putting work into that. It is very cool, even tho it is very time consuming. I would like to try out Hyprland/Nyx but I Am not getting into even more config writing for now.
Just a few more days straight of work and it’s gonna be so worth, trust
It do be worth it in the long run (at least for me it is getting worth more the longer I configure)
The art style seems familiar. It registers as ‘Gosu’ but I don’t remember this face from Gosu or Yongbi.
This is from “Myst, Might, Mayhem”, crazy stuff
Ah, yes! I do remember that: it’s on break right now. I furlough stuff on hiatus in my mental warehouse.
