And what happens to the people responsible? Nothing.
They probably get off with writing an essay or some other symbolic punishment because “Oh, we can’t ruin young men’s lives! They have their entire lives ahead of them!”. Well, so does she. What a fucking joke…What a fucked up world. I hate this place. Fuck society, fuck rape culture and fuck the people capable of committing these atrocities.

In a morbid way, this reminds me of marry-your-rapist laws: if the rapist even offers to marry the victim after commiting the crime, he gets off free.
