And there’s some 56 year old man who goes “back in my day, we just got used to it and didn’t whine. I never wear the plugs.” Well, sir, I appreciate your honest approach to the safety audit, and I’m very sorry for your hearing loss.

I’ve been to plenty of sites with a “plugs and caps” policy of needing both, and still finding it overly loud.
